A re-invention of Malcolm Gladwells first three books: The Tipping Point, Blink and Outliers by designer Paul Sahre and illustrator Brian Rea.

For the past years, I’ve never quite managed to appreciate Malcolm Gladwell’s books. Partly cause I find his conclusions too sweeping, and lack in statistical backing. However, it’s with this project that I came to finally realize what he’s been trying to achieve. Never mind that his points are not supported by a statistically sound sample size nor investigated with appropriately adjusted variances etc. What matter  are the probably reasons he proposes that can help address the old question of -  why somethings work and others don’t.

The illustrations…probably help readers to either venture off into discovering the abstract/high-level messages that Gladwell is putting arcross, or to simply keep the flow of the reader as he/she moves along with his explorations. (am making a guess here as I’ve not read the illustrated versions yet).

Not sure if it is available in Singapore bookstores, but you can purchase the set from Amazon.
